Facilitating Workers’ Task Proficiency with Subtle Decay of Contextual AR-Based Assistance Derived from Unconscious Memory Structures

چکیده

Contemporary assistance systems support a broad variety of tasks. When they provide information or instruction, the way do it has an implicit and often not directly graspable impact on user. System design forces static roles onto user, which can have negative side effects when system errors occur unique previously unknown situations need to be tackled. We propose adjustable augmented reality-based infrastructure that adapts user’s individual cognitive task proficiency dynamically reduces its active intervention in subtle, consciously noticeable over time spare attentional resources facilitate independent execution. also introduce multi-modal mechanisms context-sensitive argue why architectures explainability concealed automated processes improve user trust acceptance.

Long-term semantic memory versus contextual memory in unconscious number processing.

Subjects classified visible 2-digit numbers as larger or smaller than 55. Target numbers were preceded by masked 2-digit primes that were either congruent (same relation to 55) or incongruent. Experiments 1 and 2 showed prime congruency effects for stimuli never included in the set of classified visible targets, indicating subliminal priming based on long-term semantic memory. Experiments 2 and...

Unconscious task application.

The nature of unconscious information processing is a heavily debated issue in cognitive science (e.g., Kouider & Dehaene, 2007), and neuroscience (e.g., Crick & Koch, 1998). Traditionally, it has been thought that unconscious cognitive processing is restricted to knowledge that is strongly prepared by conscious processes (e.g., Dehaene et al., 1998). In three experiments, we show that the task...
